Everything you need to know to become a CBN driver and start earning.
Check the requirements
You need to be 18+, have a valid driver's license, a vehicle in good condition (car or motorcycle), and a smartphone.
Download the app
Search for 'CBN Driver' on App Store or Google Play and install the driver app.
Complete the application
Enter your personal details, vehicle information, and select the zones where you want to operate.
Submit documents
Upload photos of your driver's license, vehicle insurance, valid vehicle inspection, and a profile photo.
Online training
Complete the training module on using the app, pickup/delivery processes, and AI verification.
Start driving!
Once approved, activate your availability and start receiving assignments automatically.
Age and documents
Must be 18+ with a valid ID and a valid driver's license in Costa Rica.
Vehicle
Car or motorcycle in good mechanical condition. No specific model required, but it must be reliable for daily deliveries.
Insurance and inspection
Valid mandatory vehicle insurance and up-to-date vehicle inspection (RTV). CBN covers cargo insurance.
Smartphone
Phone with Android 8+ or iOS 14+ with GPS enabled and a working camera for verification scans.
Automatic assignment
When an order needs pickup or delivery, the system finds the nearest available driver and sends the assignment.
Response time
You have a limited time to accept each assignment before it moves to the next available driver.
Full details
Each assignment includes: exact address, time window, service type, number of garments, and special notes from the customer.
No penalty
You can decline assignments without penalty within reasonable limits. Your acceptance rate affects priority for future assignments.
Activate availability
At the start of your shift, toggle on availability. The system will start finding assignments in your zone.
Accept the assignment
Review the order details (address, schedule, service type) and tap 'Accept' within the time limit.
Navigate to the location
The app opens your preferred navigator (Waze or Google Maps) with the optimized route.
Pick up and verify
Arrive at the location, receive the garments from the customer/partner, and scan each one with the camera to record its condition with AI.
Transport the clothes
Take the clothes to the assigned partner (pickup) or to the customer (delivery). The app shows your progress on the map.
Confirm delivery
Take a photo of the delivery as proof, verify garments with AI, and mark the assignment as completed.
Get paid
Each completed assignment is added to your daily earnings. Check the breakdown in your dashboard.

Scan at pickup
When you receive garments from the customer, the app asks you to photograph each one. AI records its condition: color, fabric type, stains, or existing damage.
Confirm condition
AI grades each garment from A (excellent) to F (significant damage). Review and confirm the grading before continuing.
Scan at delivery
When delivering garments to the partner or customer, repeat the scan. AI compares the condition with the previous scan to detect changes.
Report discrepancies
If AI detects a significant change (new stain, damage), the system asks you to confirm and document the finding. This protects your liability.
Delivery photo
Take a photo when delivering garments. The app automatically records the GPS location, date, and exact time.
AI verification
AI validates that the delivered garments match those recorded in the order's chain of custody.
Legal protection
Photographic evidence and AI records serve as proof in case of any dispute or subsequent claim.
Accessible history
Review the history of all your deliveries with photos and details from the 'History' section of your app.
Per-assignment pay
You receive a fixed amount for each pickup or delivery completed. The amount varies by distance and service type.
Tips
Customers can leave optional tips after delivery. 100% of the tip goes directly to your account.
Weekly settlements
Your earnings are automatically settled every Monday to your registered bank account. No delays.
Real-time dashboard
Check your daily, weekly, and monthly earnings with a breakdown by assignment, tips, and bonuses.
You can use a car or motorcycle. It must be in good mechanical condition with valid mandatory insurance and vehicle inspection.
Settlements are weekly, processed every Monday for orders completed Monday through Sunday.
We operate in the Greater Metropolitan Area of San José. Available zones are shown in your app based on demand.

Yes, you decide when to activate your availability. There are no fixed schedules or mandatory hourly minimums.

The app uses your phone's camera to photograph and analyze each garment with AI. It only takes 10-15 seconds per garment.
The app gives you options: wait the maximum time, contact the customer through the app, or report 'recipient absent' to reschedule.
Yes, drivers with high acceptance rates and good ratings receive additional weekly bonuses.
Yes, there's no exclusivity. However, while available on CBN, we expect you to prioritize accepted assignments.
